Nominations for key positions
We will be soon accepting nominations for several key positions within the European Association of Psychology and Law (EAPL). In Autumn we will search for a new president-elect and new Auditors! This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to our community and help shape the future of our organization.
We will keep you up on track – but meanwhile: Think about nominations. Self-nominations are strongly encouraged — don’t hesitate to step forward!

2026 Conference in Bari
We are pleased to announce that the Annual Conference of the European Association of Psychology and Law (EAPL) in 2026 will take place in Bari, Italy.
Our hosts will be Ivan Mangiulli and colleagues from the University of Bari Aldo Moro, who will warmly welcome us to their historic and vibrant academic home in southern Italy. The conference is scheduled to be held either in September or October 2026 – we will keep you updated with the finals dates. Bari, with its rich cultural heritage and beautiful Adriatic setting, offers an inspiring environment for scientific discussion, professional exchange, and networking.
Further details will follow soon. We look forward to seeing many of you in 2026!

EAPL Ombudspersons
The EAPL has two ombudspersons to report all cases of misconduct in terms of our community ctandards. Alejandra de la Fuente Vilar and Gavin Oxburgh are elected as our ombudspersons and they will take up this responsibility. You can reach them by email: ombudsperson[at]eapl.eu. They work totally independent from the board and will keep everything private.
